Brian Foster founded The Baybridge Group in 2010 combining with partners to leverage each of their respective talents and expertise in Real Estate Development. With his past track record of raising and placing over $100 million in private equity, Mr. Foster is ideally suited to implement a range of financial strategies to support their development projects. He has extensive experience in working with financial institutions and Institutional Investors, allowing Baybridge to successfully raise the necessary capital to fund its development projects.

Prior to forming Baybridge, Mr. Foster was a principal at Mortgage Capital Advisors, where he sourced $50 million in private equity capital and subsequently directed those funds into various real estate assets. Concurrently, Mr. Foster was also a managing principal with America’s Funding Group, Inc., a full-service residential mortgage company with $600 million in originations and over 60 employees. He successfully negotiated the sale of America’s Funding Group, Inc. to Washington Savings Bank FSB in 2001.

Mr. Foster also has direct project management experience having recently managed the development, construction and rehabilitation of multi-family rental units and previously directed  the planning and development of Wakefield Plantation, a large residential PUD development and golf community (Tournament Players Club facility) in Raleigh NC. At Wakefield Plantation, he managed the development of 2,200 Single Family lots and 1,000 rental apartments while securing the financing (debt and equity) necessary to complete the development.   
 

Throughout his career, Mr. Foster has capitalized on his unique skills in negotiating and closing financial transactions.  His ability to drive the financial side of major real estate developments is an important strength of the Baybridge Partners. Mr. Foster received a Bachelor of Science from St. Francis University in Business Management and Quantitative Methods. He also studied at Indiana University of PA in their MBA program. He currently lives in Gaithersburg, MD with his family.
